A 78/10/6/4/2% blend of grenache, mataro, cinsault, shiraz and carignan. You would hope the best winemakers of the southern Rhone Valley would doff their caps in appreciation of this elegant, yet vividly flavoured wine. A smorgasboard of red fruits do most of the heavy lifting, but with some support from savoury/ earthy/ spicy tannin-related flavours; despite that spread, the wine retains elegance and focus.
