The 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve from Rutherford ratchets up the level of concentration, intensity and texture. This beauty offers lots of pure black currant fruit intermixed with licorice, incense, forest floor and subtle oak notes. Composed of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Cabernet Franc, it was aged in 100% French oak, 50% new. This impressive, full-bodied wine came in at 14.5% natural alcohol.
