The 2007 The David Howell Mountain is composed of 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, and 34% Cabernet Franc. A brilliant wine fashioned by renowned winemaker/consultant Nils Venge, it exhibits abundant amounts of blue and black fruits intertwined with spring flowers and crushed rocks, full body, and a sweet, tannic finish revealing loads of texture and length. It will be even better with several more years of bottle age, and should keep for 15+ years.
The exuberant David Del Dotto, a bigger than life personality, gives consumers the -full monty- in all of his wines. They are consistently delicious, seductive, complex wines that are accessible enough to be enjoyed in their youth, yet the finest will age for 12-15 years.
