A Bordeaux blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot, and 5% Cabernet Franc, the 300-case lot of 2004 David Proprietary Red continues the impressive work that has been done at this winery. This opulently-styled wine exhibits a dark plum/purple color as well as a sweet nose of black currants, cassis, smoked meats, and rich berry fruit presented in a stylish, full-bodied, voluptuous format.
