The 2004 Zinfandel Rossi Ranch (a blend of 80% Zinfandel and 20% Alicante Bouchet and Petite Sirah) comes from a biodynamically farmed vineyard planted in 1910. It is a primordial, meaty, dark ruby/purple-colored offering revealing a Chateauneuf du Pape-like perfume of lavender, wild Provencal herbs, black cherries, and blackberries followed by full-bodied, powerful flavors.
