With a bright pale ruby color, the 2008 Pinot Noir was matured in about 25% new oak. This medium-bodied Pinot will be a real crowd pleaser with intense ripe cherry and raspberry aromas plus a bit of cinnamon dusted on a mocha-cino. Medium to high acid and a low to medium level of fine tannins make for a gentle, juicy-fruit wine with a long finish. Drinking well now, this wine should keep through 2013.
